Resolved Size of the markers

I changed the markers to 45px and 72px images but then when I look at the map from a smartphone I get markers that are way too big. I changed the markers by 45px and 72px images but when I look at the map from a smartphone I have markers that are way too big. What should I do to have smaller markers on small screens?
